EV Technology

EV Technology

Objective:

  • To train electrical and electronics engineering students in the design, operation, and control of electric vehicle systems. The internship aims to build foundational and applied knowledge in EV power systems, battery technology, and motor control, preparing students for careers in the growing EV industry.
  • To provide students of Electrical and Electronics Engineering with hands on exposure to Electric Vehicle (EV) systems, components, and technologies through simulation, prototyping, and practical applications.

Skill Sets :

  • Fundamentals of Electric Vehicle Architecture.
  • Battery Management Systems (BMS).
  • Electric Motors & Motor Controllers.
  • Power Electronics in EVs (Inverters, Converters).
  • EV Charging Standards and Infrastructur.
  • MATLAB/Simulink for EV System Simulation.
  • CAN Communication Protocols.
  • Safety & Testing of Electrical Systems in EVs.

Outcomes:

  • Comprehensive understanding of EV electrical subsystems.
  • Exposure to real world simulation tools and testing methods.
  • Ability to work on BMS and motor control circuits.
  • Preparedness for roles in EV R&D, testing, or design.

Certification:

  • Participants will be certified upon completion of a capstone mini project or simulation on EV subsystems.
